Tuesday: Treble Select Ensemble after school

Thursday: no after school rehearsals - 2 hr early dismissal

Our concert happens in:

33 calendar days

take out weekends: 23 days

take out our breaks: 17 classes - A & B days

which means each class has: approx. 8 classes left until the concert 🙀

NOW is the time when we need to dig in, work hard, and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The Google Classroom practice tracks are available for your use, and please use EACH OTHER! Choir is not meant to be a solo activity. Family - please make sure your kids are reading these email updates and please encourage or kindly force them to practice their parts ☺️

Other Details:

Kings Dominion - Permission slips are due along with at least a $30 deposit by November 14th.

Extra Credit Opportunity - SUNDAY NOVEMBER 3, Baltimore Choral Arts Society concert @ Shriver Hall on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. 3PM. If you bring a program from your attendance, you get extra credit! Come hear some fabulous choral music and play “Wheres Waldo”, looking for me. ☺️

Field Trip Wednesday Nov. 13 - all choral students are welcome to attend the CHS Drama Club’s preview of “PUFFS: A Harry Potter Drama Production.“ We will leave CBMS and walk up to CHS around 9:30AM, and we’re expecting to be back around 1:45PM. Unlike previous years, there is NO COST to see the preview of the show this year! 🥳 All are welcome, and of course that extends to family members who would like to chaperone. The permission slip can be found on the website under Mixed Choir —> Choir Files. It will also be printed and handed out during classes the coming week. All permission slips and chaperone requests are due by Friday November 8th. This is so we can create an official list of student attendees to give to attendance, and so chaperones can be double checked that their background checks are valid.
