Tuesday 2/4- CoffeeHouse rehearsal after school (Treble Select reauditions previously scheduled for 2/4 will now be held 2/11)

Friday 2/7

• CoffeeHouse Performance - 4PM in the CBMS Cafeteria. Tickets: $3, or $5 w/ a drink. Drinks separately cost $3.

• 6th Grade --> Old Carrion Crow Part Check due @ 11:59PM

• 7th & 8th Grade --> In Flanders Fields Part Check due @ 11:59PM

Other Things

• Assignment calendars for all grades now in "Choir Files" section of the website (click Mixed Choir tab --> Choir Files.) Submissions should be made on Google Classroom. This is a very easy assignment if the students listen to the practice tracks available to them, so there should not be poor grades!

• Summer Camp auditions are nearing! Resources are available on the camp section of this website (hover over Mixed Choir tab, click on AACPS Summer Music Camp 2020) as well as Google Classroom [including practice tracks! 👍].

• UNIFORMS ARE FINALLY COMING IN. I was informed they will be here no later than 2/14. They are covering the rush shipping (almost $600 worth) for them to be here as soon as they are done being made. While it won't make up for not having them here for the winter and feeder concerts, I won't complain. They will be passed out during classes when they arrive. Students who are new to the class, I need to ask you about sizes, which will be happening in the next week or two as well.

• Retreat permission slips and itinerary are available under the "Choir Files" link, and on Google Classroom. (See Assignment calendars bullet for how to get there.)

• Festival permission slips will be available next week. PLEASE NOTE: you must receive a B or higher on all part check assessments in order to be eligible to attend Festival. Students who do not know the music do not deserve to attend, just to "miss a day of class". If you don't know your music, you don't go. Scores do not matter to me, but displaying a well-done performance we can be proud of and displaying good behavior are of the utmost importance to me and your peers.

• Kings Dominion next payment is due 2/13. Updated totals as of 1/31 @ 5:03PM can be found in Choir Files.
