Weekly Updates: 10/7 - 10/11

This weeks reminders/announcements:

• Tuesday: hard copy of Yankee Candle fundraisers & money are due! (If you sold online, you can continue to do so through January!)

• Tuesday: no Treble Select, as there is a 2 hr early dismissal (don't forget to practice with the tracks at home, though! 👍

• Thursday: first 6th grade after school rehearsal! If you have something else to go to, you may switch at half time. If you can only come to half of rehearsal, please come the SECOND half!

Other things:

• Great job at the Star Spangled Palooza on Friday! It was our largest group of students yet! Personally, I had 7 kids last year, and we got to 40-50 this year, so that's a huge accomplishment. Way to go you!

• My homework this weekend is to send out emails if you are missing paperwork for their grades, and "chase" you down if you need to still submit a uniform order or the money/ask some clarifying questions about sizing. Expect to see those, and no I am not mad or upset with you in any way, just checking in to cross the t's and dot the i's so I can get the uniform order in! Hundreds of uniforms need to be ordered, and it is so much easier for all parties involved (myself, financial secretary, uniform companies, and also you!) if we send the order in one piece. The sooner we order, the sooner you'll have your uniforms and be ready for our first performance, Wednesday December 4th!

As always, if you have aquestionsons please reach out! Just as a point of clarification, I teach all my classes back to back so it is difficult for me to respond to emails in the middle of the day. I also have no phone in my room that works, and my cell phone has zero reception because my concrete cell of a room is in the middle of the building. I want to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, while also keeping my personal phone number to myself, so I am searching for a way to gain an alternate phone number, that you can call and leave voicemail questions if it's during the day, and also even text me questions so I can respond as soon as I am available. I'll add an edit if I figure something out before next week's updates!
