Week 4 Weekly Announcements

Hi everyone!

This week in class, we:

• reviewed good posture habits

• reviewed and learned more about the breathing mechanism

• learned some basics about the voice, including: what head voice and chest voice are and what they feel/sound like; what the terms tone & resonance mean

• warmed up and practiced our first two songs

Reminders:

• All County application materials due on 10/9 by 4PM. All relevant information for All County can be found by going to Google Classroom ➡️ Classwork ➡️ For Class topic ➡️ Week 2 Slides

• Homework due: Week 4: Choral Score Literacy

• Don’t forget to continue studying your flash cards and learning your music with the materials found under Sheet Music & Practice Tracks topic

A Quick Note - Interpreting the Gradebook:

• 0 with an orange "missing" - no work is available in Google Classroom; they didn't even "turn in" the assignment.

• WNA - Work Not Attached. Student selected the "turn in" option in Google Classroom, but did so without attaching any work to be graded.
